Dr. Hui is a primary care residency trained doctor of Optometry. She received her doctorate from the Illinois college of Optometry in Chicago in 2017. After Optometry school, she continued her training at a VA medical center in Salem, Virginia. Her residency focused on integrating systemic health with eye care and allowed her to become well versed in full scope primary eye care and ocular disease. She, like Dr. Facchiano, has a heart for missions. She has served in Guatemala with the Fellowship of Christian Optometrists and hopes to go on more mission trips in the future. She cares deeply for her patients and strives to provide the best possible vision and eye care for her patients as possible.
Dr. Hui resides in the area. She is married to an amazing man who she met during optometry school. He is finishing up his last year in school and will soon be a licensed optometrist as well. Together, they have a Newfoundland puppy and two cats. In her free time, you will find her baking delicious desserts and then working them off in the gym. She is originally from North Carolina and will NEVER pass up an opportunity to talk about her home state.
